Chelsea was born on January 26, 1983, in Albany, Georgia, to Charles and Betty Jean Wright, who preceded her in death. Her unwavering spirit and infectious laughter have left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Chelsea spent her formative years in Albany, where she displayed remarkable musical talent, achieving national recognition with the Dougherty Comprehensive High School Chorale. She graduated in 2001 and continued her education at Albany State University, where she furthered her musical journey with the university chorale until 2004.
For over a decade, Chelsea dedicated her professional life to Home Depot as an Account Manager. Her colleagues remember her not only for her work ethic but for her ability to bring levity to the workplace with her quick wit and warm smile. Chelsea had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, a testament to her true nature.
Family was the cornerstone of Chelsea's life. She is survived by her sister, Consuella Brown, her cherished niece, Courtney R. Williams, and her beloved godchildren, Niambri and Tayshon Brown. Chelsea's kindness and generosity extended far beyond her family, touching the lives of countless others.
A service to honor Chelsea's life will be held on August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Westover Funeral Directors, located at 515 N Westover Blvd Ste E, Albany, GA 31707.
