September 12, 1952 — May 22, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charlotte Linn, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on May 22, 2026, at the age of 73, after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 12, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri, Charlotte was the cherished daughter of Charles and Geneva Tyrrell. From an early age, she displayed a nurturing spirit and a profound love for others, traits that would define her life and the legacy she leaves behind. Charlotte graduated from Marymount College with a degree in nursing, a career that suited her caring nature perfectly. As a registered nurse, she dedicated herself to the well-being of her patients with unwavering compassion and professionalism. Later in life, she would shift her focus to caring for her own family, providing tender care for her aging parents until their passing. Her role as a caregiver extended beyond her immediate family; she lovingly tended to her great-niece Brooklyn Stewart, her grandchildren, and even volunteered in her daughter's classroom, touching countless lives with her generosity and love. On February 28, 1981, Charlotte married the love of her life, David Linn. Together, they built a family grounded in faith and love. Charlotte's heart was filled with pride for her daughter, Rebecca Eichholz, and her son-in-law, Neil Eichholz. Her grandchildren, Charles and Adelaide Eichholz, were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be forever treasured. Charlotte was a devoted member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa, where she joyfully sang in the choir, sharing her love of God through hymn. In 2019, she joined Cure of Ars Catholic Church, where she found solace and community in the women’s Bible study and the 7 Sisters group, praying for the resident priests. Her faith was unwavering and inspired all who knew her, as she spoke with conviction and lived a life that was a testament to her beliefs. A woman of many talents, Charlotte found joy in baking, gardening, and sewing. She shared these gifts generously, creating handmade treasures for those she loved and those in need. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and hospitality, where family and friends always felt welcomed and cherished. Charlotte was a beacon of strength, independence, and perseverance. Her love for her family and friends was evident in her every word and action. She was a steadfast leader, always putting others first, and her open heart ensured she never met a stranger. Her legacy of love and kindness will endure through the many lives she touched. Charlotte is survived by her devoted husband, David, her daughter Rebecca and son-in-law Neil Eichholz, her brother Pat and sister-in-law Cheryl Tyrrell, and her beloved grandchildren Charles and Adelaide Eichholz. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Charlotte's life will be held on May 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Cure of Ars Catholic Church, located at 9403 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Catholic Hospice for the compassionate care provided to Charlotte in her final year. Charlotte Linn's life was a testament to love, faith, and selflessness. She leaves behind a world made better by her presence and a family forever grateful for the time they shared with her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
