In Loving Memory

Charlotte Letellier
January 13, 1949 — September 12, 2026
It is with both sadness and gratitude that we celebrate the life of Charlotte Letellier, who peacefully departed this world on September 12, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on January 13, 1949, in the small town of Kosciusko, Mississippi, Charlotte embodied the warmth and hospitality of her Southern roots, leaving an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Charlotte was the beloved wife of the late Kurt Letellier, with whom she shared 43 wonderful years of marriage after they wed on August 2, 1968. Together, they built a loving family and a life full of cherished memories until Kurt’s passing in 2011. She was predeceased by her dear husband Kurt and their children Michael and Christy, whose memories she held close to her heart.
Charlotte is survived by her devoted daughters, Rhonda Letellier and Mary Letellier. Her legacy continues through her three cherished grandchildren, Christian Letellier, Christina Phares and her husband Micah, and Madison Letellier, all of whom she adored deeply. Her family extended beyond blood, as she held countless friends and relatives in the embrace of her generous spirit.
Known for her feistiness, Charlotte’s personality was a delightful blend of compassion, kindness, and a penchant for giving sage advice. Her helping hand was always extended, ready to uplift those around her. Her love for reading inspired her to instill the same passion in her grandchildren, creating treasured memories at her beloved “Camp Maw-Maw,” where trips to the library and the movies were summertime staples. Charlotte’s artistic flair shone brightly through her crafting projects with her grandchildren, moments filled with laughter and love that will be forever cherished.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at St. Joseph for the compassionate care and support they provided Charlotte.
A celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held on September 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Parran's Poboys of Kenner. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her spirit of generosity and care.
Charlotte Letellier’s legacy of love, wisdom, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved family.
