In Loving Memory of Charline Murray
With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Charline Murray, who departed this life peacefully on July 24, 2026, following a sudden heart attack. Born on April 7, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Barbara Jean McDonald and Freddie Murry, Charline lived a life defined by compassion, strength, and unconditional love.
A proud graduate of Washington High School, Charline dedicated more than 35 years to a career in healthcare, where caring for others was not only her profession but her calling. She was known for her gentle spirit, generous heart, warm smile, and unwavering kindness, touching the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
On September 13, 1982, she married the love of her life, Howard Murray. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and enduring love. Charline found joy in music, cooking, The Young and the Restless, and, above all, spending time with those she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie Murry and Barbara Jean McDonald, as well as Makhi Williams, Mikey Henderson, Shae Marie, Keisha Thomson, and Cory Miller.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Howard Murray; her beloved children and family members, Shante Brooks, Renikka Wilson, Rahmon Wilson, Reina Taylor, Dubanic Garlington, Melvin Jr., Charlie Mack, and Shante Brawling; nine cherished grandchildren; six precious great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Charline’s legacy of love, kindness, and selfless service will live on in the countless lives she touched. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit remains forever in our hearts and in the treasured memories she leaves behind.
Forever Loved. Forever Missed. Forever in Our Hearts.
