Charlie Reeves, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on June 10, 1943, Charlie was the cherished son of Claudis and Lizzie Reeves. He was raised in a loving home alongside his siblings, and though his brother Donald Reeves preceded him in death, their bond remained ever strong in Charlie's heart.
A man of deep compassion and enduring strength, Charlie devoted his life to his family and community. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mildred Reeves, who was his steadfast partner and confidante. Their union was a testament to a love that withstood the test of time, enriched by shared dreams and countless precious moments.
Together, Charlie and Mildred raised a beautiful family. He leaves behind his son Chad and daughter-in-law Terri Reeves, as well as his daughters Teresa and husband Mitch Adams, and Malinda and husband Mitch Harrison. Charlie's family extended beyond his immediate children to include his stepson, Bruce Babcock, who also shared in the joy of his life.
A proud grandfather and great-grandfather, Charlie's legacy lives on through his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each carrying a piece of his indomitable spirit. His family also extends to his sister Rena and her husband Bobby Hayworth, his brother Gene and sister-in-law Janice Reeves, and his sister-in-law Melba Reeves. His life was further enriched by a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends, all of whom were touched by his kindness and generous spirit.
Charlie was known for his warm heart and gentle demeanor, always ready with a helping hand or a kind word. Whether spending time with family, nurturing his garden, or engaging with his community, Charlie's presence was a blessing to all who knew him.
