It is with the deepest sorrow and the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Charlie Rain Estep, who peacefully left this world on July 8, 2026, at the tender age of one year and three months. Born on March 30, 2025, in Seymour, Indiana, Charlie was a beacon of light and joy to those who had the privilege of knowing her. Charlie was the cherished daughter of Kiera Estep and Aj Engle, who lovingly cradled her through every precious moment of her short but impactful life. Her laughter and vibrant spirit were gifts that touched all who met her. From her earliest days, Charlie had a delightful personality that made everyone feel loved and brought laughter to even the most challenging days. A joyful and spirited child, Charlie found delight in the simplest of pleasures. She enjoyed FaceTiming with family and friends, sharing giggles and smiles that brightened the lives of those on the other end. Her days were filled with playful adventures with her toys, creating magic and wonder in her little world. Charlie had a special fondness for TikToks, where her joyful expressions and laughter could be heard and seen, spreading smiles far and wide. She also loved looking in the mirror, beaming back at the world with her radiant smile. Charlie’s short life was a testament to the power of love and laughter. She had an innate ability to make others laugh until they cried, a rare gift that will be fondly remembered by all. Her warmth and joy were truly infectious, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. In addition to her loving parents, Charlie leaves behind a grieving family and community who adored her deeply. She was predeceased by her great-grandfather, Tom Trails, whose spirit now watches over her. Her family attended church regularly, and it was there that Charlie’s joyful presence was felt by all, bringing light to the congregation. A celebration of Charlie's life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Christensen Family Funeral Home located at 311 Holiday Square Rd, Seymour, IN. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Charlie's bright spirit are invited to join in commemorating her brief yet beautiful journey. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Charlie's memory, a tribute to the love and joy she shared with the world.
