It is with deep sorrow and yet a profound sense of celebration for a life uniquely lived that we announce the passing of Charlie Geter. Born on June 15, 2009, in an unexpected yet memorable arrival in the back alley of My, Charlie's journey on this Earth came to a close on June 3, 2026. Though his time with us was brief, Charlie's spirit and unconventional approach to life left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Charlie was the beloved child of Pol and Keli, who cherished him dearly and held him close through every twist and turn of his adventurous life. Charlie was predeceased by his cherished companion, Max Anthony James Danskin, whose friendship he held close to his heart. Though Charlie chose a path unburdened by traditional education or career milestones, he embraced his own distinct way of experiencing the world. With a mischievous twinkle in his eye, he found joy in the everyday moments that many might overlook. In his own words, he preferred to "goon to breckie hill" rather than adhere to conventional pursuits. Known for his humor and unfiltered zest for life, Charlie was unapologetically himself. His unique perspective and candidness were both a source of amusement and admiration to those around him. He held a passion for living authentically, a quality that endeared him to many and inspired them to embrace their true selves. Charlie's life was a testament to the importance of living in alignment with one's values and desires, no matter how unconventional they may seem. His family fondly recalls his ability to make others laugh and the joy he spread wherever he went. In accordance with Charlie's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. The family kindly requests donations in Charlie's memory be made to "Ass Eating United," an organization that celebrates individuality and the joy of living life with humor and authenticity. Charlie’s family offers a special message: "May he be eating hella ass in heaven." This heartfelt sentiment captures Charlie’s vibrant spirit and the legacy of laughter and love he leaves behind. Charlie Geter will forever be remembered for his courage to live life on his own terms, his infectious laughter, and his unwavering love for those he held dear.
