In Loving Memory

Charleston Washington
January 4, 1998 — March 23, 2026
Charleston Washington, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on March 23, 2026, at the tender age of 28, after a courageous battle with illness. Born on January 4, 1998, in Waldorf, Maryland, Charleston was a beacon of light and warmth for everyone around him.
Charleston was the cherished son of Kier and Jeffrey Washington, whose nurturing love and guidance shaped him into the remarkable man he became. He was a devoted father to Marquis, John, and Salia Washington, who were the pride and joy of his life. His love for them was boundless, and he relished every moment spent with them, filling their lives with laughter and wisdom.
He is survived by his loving parents, Kier and Jeffrey, and his devoted sisters, Kinara, Alexis, and Shemira Washington, who will forever hold dear the memories of their shared childhood adventures and the unwavering support he provided throughout their lives.
Charleston was preceded in death by his grandparents and his beloved sister, Nicole, whose spirits now welcome him into the embrace of eternity.
A man of integrity and dedication, Charleston took immense pride in his work at a local car dealership. He valued the relationships he built throughout his career, always extending a smile or a helping hand to colleagues and customers alike. His professionalism and commitment were admired by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Beyond his professional life, Charleston found solace in nature, particularly in the quietude of fishing. The peaceful hours spent on the water were a testament to his reflective nature and his appreciation for life's simple joys.
Charleston's humor, kindness, and warmth left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. His nonjudgmental nature made him a trusted confidant and friend, always ready with a listening ear or a word of encouragement. His laughter was infectious, and his presence comforting, qualities that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Charleston are invited to celebrate his life at a service to be held on March 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, located at 3150 Middletown Road, Waldorf, MD. There, in the community that nurtured him, we will come together to honor his memory and the remarkable legacy he leaves behind.
Charleston Washington may have left this world too soon, but his spirit, love, and the lessons he imparted will continue to live on in the hearts of all those he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
