Charles was predeceased by his father, whose memory he held dear and whose values he carried forward with dignity and grace. A man of many talents, Charles was known far and wide for his passion for music. Nicknamed "Dr. Rock" by his friends, he began his journey as a DJ at the tender age of 12. Music was the rhythm of his life, and through it, he connected with countless souls, bringing joy and celebration to every gathering. Whether spinning records or sharing stories of his favorite artists, Charles' love for music was infectious, and his legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who danced to his beats. For many years, Charles dedicated himself to his role as a security guard with Stadium People, where he exemplified professionalism, integrity, and kindness. A service honoring Charles will be held on May 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, located at 1615 South Fort Hood, Killeen, Texas, 76542.
