Charles Raymond Demski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Raymond Demski, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on October 14, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on March 13, 1949, Charles was a beacon of strength and kindness to all who knew him. Charles was the cherished son of the late Raymond William Demski and Harriet Susan Demski, whose memories he carried with him throughout his life. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Deborah Harry Demski, with whom he shared a life filled with love and laughter. Together, they raised two wonderful daughters, Kathy Ann McCoy and Karen Marie Beirne, who will continue to honor his legacy through their lives. A proud grandfather, Charles found immense joy in the lives of his five grandchildren: Austine James Copeland, Connor Andrew Copeland, Joshua Raymond Copeland, Bear Hunter Beirne, and William Joseph Beirne. His laughter and wisdom were gifts he generously shared with them, leaving behind a treasure trove of cherished memories. During his professional career, Charles dedicated 30 years of service to the Federal Government. His colleagues remember him as a diligent and respectful man, whose work ethic and commitment left a lasting impact. Outside of his career, Charles's life was enriched by his passions and hobbies. He found solace and creativity in woodworking, transforming raw materials into beautiful expressions of art. His garden was a reflection of his nurturing spirit, as he tended to each plant with care. Charles also loved to travel, exploring new places and cultures, and making memories with his family. As we celebrate the life of Charles Raymond Demski, we remember him for his warmth, his unwavering dedication to his family, and his gentle spirit. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Charles's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee. This organization was close to Charles's heart, and contributions will honor his enduring commitment to helping others. Charles will be deeply missed, yet his love and teachings will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever. May he rest in peace.
