It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Charles Moulder, on March 7, 2026, at the age of 87. Charles departed this world surrounded by the love of his family, in the comfort of his home, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, wisdom, and cherished memories. Charles was born on January 8, 1939, in the bustling city of Los Angeles, to Ivan and Lorayne Moulder. His early years were shaped by the vibrant culture and dynamic energy of his birthplace, and he carried the spirit of Los Angeles with him throughout his life. Charles was predeceased by his beloved parents, Ivan and Lorayne, and he often reflected on the invaluable lessons and profound love they imparted to him. In 1961, Charles met the love of his life, Susan Erickson, and they embarked on a remarkable journey together as husband and wife. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership, marked by countless adventures and a mutual dedication that only deepened over the years they shared. Charles was a devoted family man, whose greatest joy came from his role as a father and grandfather. He was the proud patriarch of a loving family, and his legacy lives on through his children and five treasured grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Grandpa Charlie." His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he took immense pride in each of their achievements, always offering his support, encouragement, and gentle guidance. Throughout his life, Charles was known for his warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends. His passion for life was evident in everything he did, from his career to his hobbies, and he inspired those around him with his boundless enthusiasm and zest for living. A lover of nature, Charles often found solace and joy in the great outdoors, where he spent many happy hours hiking, fishing, and appreciating the beauty of the natural world. Charles was a man of integrity, whose generosity and compassion touched the lives of many. He was a friend to all who knew him, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. His wisdom and kindness were a beacon of light to those fortunate enough to call him a friend, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. As we say goodbye to Charles, we celebrate a life well-lived—a life full of love, laughter, and meaningful connections. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories that will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family and friends. A private memorial service will be held to honor Charles's life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Charles's memory to a charity of choice, celebrating his generous spirit and lifelong commitment to helping others. Charles Moulder will be dearly missed, but his loving spirit and the joy he brought into our lives will remain with us always. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing he made the world a better place simply by being in it.
