Charles Lance Petersen

Charles Lance Petersen (Chuck), age 39 of North Mankato, Minnesota passed away on June 27 2026 at his home in North Mankato, MN after suffering hyperactive cardiovascular disease (heart attack). Chuck was born on July 8, 1986, in Waseca, Minnesota, he was the son of Lars Petersen and Joann Lawrence. He was raised in the Waseca area and later in his life moved around in the southern Minnesota area before settling down in the Mankato. Chuck met his significant other in 2006 and had their three beautiful children Tyler James Petersen 18, Gabriella Marie Petersen 16 and Carter Lance Petersen 15, they later split their separate ways, later in life he married his wife Melissa Peterson on September 18, 2021. He had several jobs throughout his lifetime Michael Foods, Civic Center of Mankato, Lindsay Window, Super 8 hotel, Creation Tech. He volunteered at the Salvation Army. Chuck had countless hobbies including hanging out with his kids, fishing, car racing, tractor pulls, playing cards and collecting NASCAR. Chuck was survived by his wife Melissa, children: Tyler 18, Gabriella 16 and Carter 15. his siblings Mark, Billy, Dennis and step siblings Tim and Laura, and other relatives and countless friends. Preceded in death by his parents and good family friend George Delmar Kley. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
