It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Charles Henry Wilson Sr., who left us peacefully on September 14, 2026, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, surrounded by the family he cherished. Born on January 30, 1940, in Carmichael, Maryland, Charles lived a life marked by love, service, and dedication. His dedication to helping others extended beyond his professional life; he was an active lifetime member of the Queen Anne-Hillsboro Fire Department. In his spare time, Charles expressed his love for cooking as a personal chef and caterer, bringing joy to many with his culinary skills. Charles had a zest for life that was infectious. An avid fisherman, he found peace and joy in the tranquility of the waters. His love for fishing was only matched by his passion for spending time with his family, where his warmth and humor shone brightly. He was a beacon of light and strength, known for his dedication to his family and community. A service to celebrate Charles's life will be held on September 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Nazareth, located at 10660 Greensboro Rd., Denton, MD 21629. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has provided support during this time.
