Born on June 10, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, Charles was a beacon of light, love, and laughter to all who were fortunate to know him.
Charles was the beloved son of the late Charles Heard Sr. and Enola Heard. He is survived by his loving children, son Charles Heard III and daughter Nydya Heard, who were the pride and joy of his life. He leaves behind his brother, Marcus Foreman, and his sisters, LaTasha Foreman and LaTanya Foreman, along with his dear sister Tameika Crawford. Charles was a treasured uncle to a host of nieces and nephews, and his memory will be carried on in the hearts of countless cousins and close childhood friends, many of whom he met during his formative years at Robeson High School.
A proud graduate of Robeson High School, Charles excelled as a three-sport athlete, showcasing his talents in track, baseball, and football. His passion for football earned him a scholarship to Alabama State University, where he continued to develop his innate abilities and strong character.
Charles was blessed with an angelic voice that could captivate any crowd. His love for singing was matched only by his fervent support for sports, particularly football, basketball, and baseball. Yet, above all, it was his unwavering faith that defined his life. Charles was a devout man who found solace in reading the Bible and sharing his spirituality with others. His deep relationship with God was a guiding force, providing him with a resilience and strength that inspired many.
Known for his honesty and transparency, Charles was a man of integrity whose intentions were never in question. His loving, supportive, and giving nature made him a reliable friend and confidant. His infectious humor could light up a room, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Charles's strength, both physical and spiritual, allowed him to endure and persevere through life's many challenges, a testament to his indomitable spirit.
