Charles Gary Kimble

Charles Gary Kimble, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026, after a long illness. Born on July 3, 1940, in Frankfurt, Indiana, Charles was the cherished son of Charles Gerald Kimble and Cassie Kimble, who preceded him in death, along with his sister, Janet. Charles shared a beautiful life with his wife, Sherry, to whom he was devoted for 63 wonderful years. Together they built a family filled with love and laughter, raising three children: Kelly, Bart, who is married to Debra, and Heidi, who is married to Steve. Charles's legacy of warmth and kindness lives on through his grandchildren, Kyle, Megan, Savannah, Amanda, and Jacob, as well as his great-granddaughter, Addison. He is also survived by his dear sister Sally. Charles's journey was marked by a passion for learning and a dedication to his work as an engineer. His career spanned several decades, during which he was respected for his diligence and expertise. Outside of work, Charles found joy in fishing, a pastime that connected him to nature and provided moments of peace. He was also an ardent sports enthusiast, finding camaraderie and excitement in both playing and watching games. Known for his quick wit and a chuckle that could light up any room, Charles had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. His love for sharing silly jokes and his generous spirit left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A service to celebrate Charles's life will be held on September 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Busch‐Romito Funeral Home, located at 99 West Aurora Road, Northfield, OH 44067. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Charles's memory to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to his generous and compassionate nature. Charles Gary Kimble's life was a testament to the power of kindness, laughter, and love. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who carry his spirit in their hearts.
