Charles D. Vogel

Charles D. Vogel, age 71, of Pensacola, FL departed this life on April 15, 2026. Born on June 8, 1954, in Huntington, West Virginia, Charles was the son of the late D'Armand and Emma (Pierce) Vogel. Charles, known affectionately as "Charlie" to his family and friends, was a man of many talents. His life was a symphony of interests, each note resonating with the joy and vibrancy that he brought into the world. Among his greatest passions was his love for Harley Davidson motorcycles. The open road was his sanctuary, a place where he found freedom and peace. His adventures on two wheels were a testament to his spirit—a spirit that embraced life with a fearless and adventurous heart. He was predeceased by his parents, D'Armand and Emma, his greatest joy, his son, Charles Donovan Vogel, and his sister, Mary Emily Townsend. He leaves behind his siblings, James Vogel and Beth Hartley, as well as many nieces and nephews. There will be no formal service, if you knew Charlie, you will understand. His journey may have ended, but his spirit will forever ride free in the hearts of those who loved him.
