It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles H. Thurlow Jr. (Chuck ) who passed away on August 23, 2026, after a brief illness. Born on November 15, 1951, in Fulton, New York.
Chuck was the beloved son of the late Charles H. and Beverley C. (Gannett) Thurlow of Fulton, NY. He was predeceased by his brother Michael.
Chuck leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife, Daisy, with whom he shared 44 wonderful years of marriage.
Chuck is also survived by a son, Dale Allen, of Illinois, His siblings, Harold (Gerry) Ellis of Hannibal, Rodger (Susan) Thurlow of Virginia, Lawrence (Patricia)Thurlow of Fulton, Dora Thurlow of Wisconsin, and Dawn (Jim) LaRock of Fulton. They will cherish the memories they shared with him. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers & sisters in-law, and grandchildren.
A man of many talents and interests, Chuck found joy in traveling, he had been everywhere and seen everything, from a white water rafting guide in Wyoming to a long haul driver in Illinois. He’d done it all. The stories he would tell when he came home to NY to visit would make you feel as though you were right there with him. He loved music, playing the guitar, golfing, fishing and watching football.
At Chuck’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral.
Chuck’s legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and all who knew and loved him.
