Chance Ray Gardner
January 3, 1998 — May 26, 2026
It is with profound sadness and hearts full of cherished memories that we announce the passing of Chance Ray Gardner, who left this world on May 26, 2026, at the tender age of 28. Chance departed peacefully at the comfort of his home in Coffeyville, Kansas, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness.
Born on January 3, 1998, in Coffeyville, Chance quickly grew into a compassionate and spirited soul known for his infectious smile and unwavering kindness. He was the beloved son of David Ray Gardner Jr. and Tereasa Weber, both of whom instilled in him the values of generosity and integrity that he carried throughout his life.
Chance's journey took him through the halls of South Coffeyville Oklahoma High School, where he graduated with the class of bright minds and warm hearts. It was here that he forged lifelong friendships and cultivated a deep-seated love for adventure and camaraderie.
A man of many passions, Chance found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His days were often spent surrounded by friends, creating unforgettable memories in the midst of races and demolition derbies, where the roar of engines and the thrill of competition were his companions. Yet, it was in the art of welding that Chance truly found his calling, crafting pieces that were as strong and enduring as his spirit.
Chance's kindness knew no bounds; he was the type of person who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. His heart was as open as the skies he loved to gaze upon, and his generosity touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Above all, Chance's greatest pride and joy was his beloved daughter, Maisie Grace Rae Gardner. She was the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with her, imparting lessons of love and strength that will guide her forever.
Chance's memory will be honored with a celebration of his life on June 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Chance's radiant spirit are invited to join in commemorating his remarkable journey.
While Chance's physical presence will be deeply missed, the warmth of his spirit and the echoes of his laughter will remain forever etched in the hearts of those who knew him. In our memories, he will continue to race across the tracks of our lives, a reminder that love and kindness are the true measure of a life's worth.
Rest in peace, dear Chance. May you find eternal comfort in the embrace of the heavens, and may your legacy of love and generosity continue to inspire all who follow in your footsteps.
