December 14, 1954 — March 14, 2026

Cecil R. Kegley, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on March 14, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on December 14, 1954, in Foreman, Arkansas, Cecil was the cherished son of the late Vera Catherine and RD Kegley. Cecil lived a full and vibrant life, marked by hard work, dedication, and love for his family. He spent his career as a construction worker and truck driver, roles in which he demonstrated an unwavering work ethic, a steadfast commitment to excellence, and a quiet pride in providing for those he loved. His hands were never idle, and his heart was always full. Over his lifetime, Cecil built not only roads and structures but also a legacy of kindness and resilience. He shared 40 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Debra Kegley, who remains to cherish their memories and the life they built together. Their union was blessed with three loving children: sons Cecil Kegley and Robert Kegley, and daughter Tina Fulfer, who all carry forward his enduring spirit and values. Cecil's life was further enriched by his six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. He lovingly guided them with the same compassion and wisdom that defined his character. He is also survived by his sister Edna Black and brother Donnie Kegley, who provided him with familial bonds and shared history. Cecil was predeceased by his parents, Vera Catherine and RD Kegley, as well as his siblings Lillie May Kegley, Osmarie Kegley, David Kegley, Jim Bob Kegley, and John D Kegley. Though their absence was deeply felt, Cecil carried their memories with him and drew strength from the love they shared. A man of simple pleasures, Cecil found joy in the everyday moments—whether it was a quiet afternoon at home, a long drive through open country roads, or sharing a hearty laugh with friends and family. His gentle nature and tireless spirit left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. A service to honor and celebrate Cecil's life will be held on April 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Blackland Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to gather and pay their respects, sharing stories and memories that encapsulate the warmth and generosity with which Cecil lived his life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Cecil’s memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting his lifelong belief in helping others and making the world a better place. Cecil R. Kegley will be remembered not only for the life he led but for the love he gave and the legacy he left behind. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by all.
