It is with deep sorrow and yet profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Cavories Pearl, who departed this world on June 19, 2026, at the age of 66. Cavories was lovingly surrounded by family and compassionate care in hospice, as she gracefully concluded her battle with dementia. Her journey began on October 6, 1959, in the vibrant city of Baltimore, Maryland, where she was born to the late Ruth and James Adams.
Cavories was a beacon of strength, compassion, and unwavering love, traits that were evident in every role she embraced throughout her life. She was a devoted mother to her cherished children, Venice Pearl and Montrey Pearl, and a beloved sister to Venus Adams. Her nurturing spirit extended to her four treasured grandchildren, Deshawn Brown, Daquan Mayer, Amira Brown, and Antoine Pearl, who brought immense joy to her life. In recent years, she was blessed with the love of two great-grandchildren, who were a testament to the legacy of love she cultivated.
Family was the cornerstone of Cavories's existence. She instilled in her children and grandchildren the values of kindness, resilience, and the importance of togetherness. Her home was always a haven of warmth and laughter, where stories were shared and memories were woven into the fabric of family life.
Cavories's life was a celebration of the simple joys. She had an infectious smile that could light up any room and a gentle demeanor that put others at ease. Her laughter was a melody that echoed through the hearts of all who knew her. Whether she was tending to her garden, cooking a family meal, or sharing stories of the past, Cavories found beauty in the everyday moments.
Her enduring legacy is one of love and hope, written indelibly in the hearts of those she touched. She leaves behind a tapestry of memories cherished by her family and friends, who will carry her spirit forward in their lives.
In addition to her parents, Ruth and James Adams, Cavories is predeceased by her beloved daughter, Venice Pearl. Their reunion in the hereafter is a comfort to those who remain.
In accordance with her wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor her memory, allowing her family to find solace and peace in a personal and intimate setting.
As we celebrate the life of Cavories Pearl, let us remember her not for the struggle she endured, but for the love she shared and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us, a testament to a life filled with grace, courage, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Cavories's memory to support dementia research, a cause close to her heart.
May her soul find eternal rest and her spirit forever guide us.
