It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Catrina Fe Devitt, a cherished soul who departed this world peacefully on May 8, 2026, at her mother's mountain cabin, enveloped by the serene beauty she so adored. Born on January 31, 1975, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Catrina was a beacon of light and strength, whose enduring courage and unwavering spirit inspired all who knew her. Catrina was the beloved daughter of David P. Devitt and Martha M. Brock. Her life was shaped by the love and values instilled by her parents, and she carried these with her through every chapter of her life. She was predeceased by her dear sister, Rae Lynn Devitt; her brother, Anthony P. Devitt; and her son, Hunter S. Pass. Their memories remained close to her heart, and she now joins them in eternal peace. A devoted mother and grandmother, Catrina's legacy lives on through her loving son, Keaston Z. Devitt, and her cherished grandson, Branton Donoho. Her nurturing spirit and boundless love for her family were evident in every moment she shared with them. She is also survived by her devoted parents, David and Martha, who reveled in her accomplishments and supported her every step of the way. Catrina's life was enriched by her love for her dogs, Honey (Boo Boo), Bert (Reynolds), and Dolly (Pardon), who were more than pets to her; they were her companions and confidants, each with a special place in her heart. In addition to her affection for her four-legged friends, Catrina was a gifted artist, whose creativity and passion were reflected in her work. Her art was a testament to her vibrant spirit and her ability to find beauty in the world around her. Catrina faced her battle with breast cancer with incredible resilience and grace, demonstrating strength that inspired those who walked alongside her during her journey. Her legacy is one of love, courage, and artistry, and she will be remembered for the warmth she brought into the lives of all who were fortunate to know her. A celebration of Catrina's life will be held on June 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church, located at 1 Old Railroad Dr, High Rolls Mountain Park, NM 88325. Family and friends are invited to gather in her honor, to share stories, and to celebrate the light and love she shared with the world.
