She was preceded in death by her loving parents, her cherished sons, Kendrick Webber and Kendal Porter, and her grandparents Hebert Porter, Elizabeth Neely, John, and WillieMae Dickerson. Their memories lived on in her heart, guiding her throughout her years.
A devoted mother, Catrice is survived by her children, Kevin Webber Jr. and Kendra Webber, who were the light of her life. Her legacy continues through her seven adored grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She is also survived by her siblings Pamela Porter, Latrice Porter, Larry Porter Jr., and Collessia Porter, who shared in her laughter and provided a bond that transcended mere family ties. Her presence will be missed by her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives she touched so deeply.
Catrice graduated from Northside High School in 1992, a place where she first began to shine with her remarkable abilities and infectious smile. Her professional journey led her to the Texas Department of Corrections and United Technologies of Carrier, where she was known for her outstanding performance. Her commitment to her work was paralleled by her dedication to the United Steelworkers Local 7655, where she found camaraderie and purpose.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Catrice was a spirited traveler, finding joy and enlightenment in the exploration of new places and cultures. Her zest for life was contagious, and her stories of adventure inspired everyone around her to see the world with wonder and curiosity.
A private service to honor Catrice's life will be held on February 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The family, respecting their privacy during this difficult time, asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
