It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cathy Marie Dolliver, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Cathy passed away peacefully at home on May 26, 2026, at the age of 73, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 23, 1952, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Cathy was a beacon of warmth and kindness whose spirit touched everyone she met. She was the cherished daughter of the late Sheila Sakins, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Cathy was predeceased by her dear brother Kirk Goad and her beloved sister, Darlene (Susie) Fisher. Their memories were always close to her heart, and she often spoke of them with fondness and love. Cathy's legacy lives on through her devoted children, Tammy and Jason (Rob), who were the pride and joy of her life. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, Scott (Andy), Kyle (Brittany), Jordyn, and Ethan, who remember her as a grandmother full of stories, laughter, and endless love. She was also blessed to witness the smiles of her great-grandchildren, Keegan, Annabella, and Destiny, who brought her immense joy and filled her heart with happiness. Known for her generosity and a heart as big as her spirit, Cathy was the epitome of love in action. Her home was always open to those in need of comfort, and her kindness knew no bounds. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel special, offering a listening ear or a shoulder to lean on. Her love for her family and friends was immeasurable, and her dedication to them was unwavering. Cathy had an infectious smile and an unparalleled zest for life. She found joy in the love and companionship of her dog Teddy aka Rosie. But above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. In keeping with Cathy’s wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. Her family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time and asks that those who wish to honor Cathy’s memory do so by performing an act of kindness in her name. Cathy Marie Dolliver will be remembered for her love, generosity, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
