Though she did not have the opportunity to serve in the military, Catherine had an undeniable fondness for the spirit of the sea, often jesting about her love for seamen. Her playful nature was complemented by a profound love for animals, as evidenced by the 14 cats, 12 snails, and a loyal dog who will miss her gentle touch and caring presence. Amid her circle of human admirers, Catherine was also survived by four devoted companions, affectionately referred to as her 'simps,' who treasured her friendship and admired her zest for life. In 2025, Catherine brought her own brand of mischief and charm into a new chapter by marrying Nick, a testament to her ability to inspire love and devotion. Her marriage was an embodiment of the wit and cleverness that marked her life, as she often joked about how she "tricked" Nick into matrimony, much to the amusement of those who knew them.
