She was predeceased by her beloved parents, William and Pauline, and her devoted husband, Richard "Slim" Lankford. Together, Catherine and Richard built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Their union was blessed with a wonderful family that stands as a testament to their enduring love. Catherine leaves behind a loving family who will carry her legacy forward: her daughters, Gretta Widner, married to Wayne, Marie Lankford, Roberta Woodard, and Janice Davison; her sons, Allen Lankford, married to Sandra, and Robert Lankford, married to Cindy. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments, providing them with unwavering support and unconditional love. Throughout her life, Catherine was known for her warmth, her unwavering faith, and her ability to make those around her feel valued and loved.
