Born on February 8, 1961, in Brooklyn, New York, Linda lived a life full of joy, laughter, and love, touching the hearts of all who knew her with her warm smile and empathetic nature. Linda was the cherished daughter of the late Katherine Powell Malloy and J.B. Malloy. A loving mother, Linda is survived by her daughter, Tricia Hernandez, and son-in-law, Joseph Hernandez. Her three grandchildren, Christian Thompson, Faith Thompson, and Ethan Hernandez, were the light of her life, bringing her immense joy and pride. She was a devoted sister to her predeceased siblings, Angel Louis Malloy and Sheena Louise Malloy. Her family was the cornerstone of her world, and she will be dearly missed by her surviving siblings, Carolyn Malloy Dukes, and her husband Ronnie, and Derrick Watkins, and his wife Desiree. Linda also leaves behind a loving godson, Kasim, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends who will forever cherish her memory. Linda will be fondly remembered for her contagious laugh and funny antics, which could brighten even the darkest of days. Her friendly demeanor and genuine kindness left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Though our hearts are heavy with her loss, we find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, embraced by our Lord and Savior. Linda’s life will be celebrated in a private ceremony, honoring her wishes and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. As we say goodbye to our dear Linda, we hold onto the memories filled with love, laughter, and warmth. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
