She was born on March 9, 1926, in Maidstone, Ontario, Canada, to Marie Laporte and Eugene St. Louis, who instilled in her the values of kindness and strength that she carried throughout her life.
Catherine was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Henry Laframboise, with whom she shared 50 beautiful years of marriage after their wedding on February 26, 1949. Their love was a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who knew them. Together, they built a life filled with warmth and laughter, nurturing a family that would grow to include 35 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Family was the cornerstone of Catherine's life. She was predeceased by her siblings, Susan Wagler, Ronnie Wagler, Harold St. Louis, Larry St. Louis, and Marjorie Little, all of whom she held dear in her heart. Her legacy of love continues through her children, Terry (Patrice), Tommy (Linda), Donnie (Joan) Laframboise, Darlene (Jim) Puckalo, Sandra (Bob) McWhinney, Kenny (Christen) Laframboise, Ronnie Laframboise, Cindy Maize, and Lisa (Gary) Wills. She is also survived by her brother, Norbert (Dorthy), who shared her journey and treasured memories spanning a century.
Catherine's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she embraced each grandchild and great-grandchild with open arms and a heart full of affection. Her home was a sanctuary where stories were shared, laughter echoed, and love was always in abundance.
