Born on November 11, 1957, in Washington, D.C., Cathy was a beacon of positivity whose radiant smile touched everyone she met. Cathy's journey of learning began at Central High School, from where she graduated in 1975. Her thirst for knowledge took her to Morgan State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Her education laid the foundation for a career that began in the Federal Government and later flourished at Bank of America, where she dedicated her skills and passion to her work. Beyond her professional life, Cathy found joy in the written word. An avid reader, she was a cherished member of several book clubs, where her insightful thoughts and discussions endeared her to fellow book lovers. Her gatherings with family and friends were filled with laughter and stories, as she was a natural at bringing people together and making them feel valued. Cathy's life was characterized by her unwavering positivity and her beautiful, ever-present smile that could light up any room. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Cathy leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Her life was a testament to the power of compassion and the importance of connection, and she will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
