Carter Adair Obituary It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Carter Adair, who left us far too soon on March 9, 2026, at the tender age of 19. Born on July 3, 2006, in the close-knit community of Helena, Alabama, Carter was a beacon of light and joy to all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Carter was the beloved son of Matthew and Meghan Adair, who cherished him deeply and instilled in him values of kindness and resilience. He shared a special bond with his sister, Avery, whom he lovingly referred to as his "hot sister," a testament to their playful and enduring sibling connection. A proud graduate of Helena High School, Carter was a dedicated student at Troy University. His academic journey was marked by a passion for learning and an insatiable curiosity about the world. While pursuing his studies, Carter worked as a waiter at El Rancho Grande, where he was known not just for his work ethic but for his warm smile and genuine interest in the lives of those he served. Carter's time at Troy University was enriched by his involvement in the FarmHouse fraternity, where he found a brotherhood that embraced him with open arms. His membership in the Gamma Beta pledge class was a source of joy and camaraderie, strengthening bonds that went beyond mere friendship. Though Carter's life was tragically cut short, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a spirit that will never be forgotten. He was proud of his Jewish heritage, which informed his actions and interactions with others, guiding him to live a life of compassion, empathy, and integrity. In honoring Carter's memory, we remember a young man who was not just lonely, but someone who cherished deep, meaningful connections. His absence leaves a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him, yet his spirit will continue to inspire those he touched. Carter's family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered their support and condolences during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of choice in Carter's name, celebrating his generous spirit and commitment to making the world a better place. A celebration of Carter's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share memories and honor the incredible life he lived. While Carter's journey on this earth was brief, his impact was profound, and he will be forever remembered in the love he left behind.
