Carolyn Hall, a beacon of warmth and kindness, passed away peacefully at her home on July 1, 2026, after an extended illness. At the age of 84, Carolyn left this world surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and devotion to her family and community. Born on July 9, 1941, in Jacksonville, Florida, Carolyn was the cherished daughter of Herbert and Dorothy Brown. Carolyn's journey through life was marked by her deep love for her family and her unwavering faith. She married the love of her life, Grady Hall, on October 10, 1959, in Jacksonville. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories, raising three wonderful children. Carolyn was predeceased by her beloved husband Grady, her parents, her brother Bert Bozeman, her son Kenneth Hall, and her great granddaughter Taylor Ann Marie. Her spirit now joins theirs in heaven. A proud graduate of Ribault High School in 1959, Carolyn embarked on a diverse career journey, working diligently in various roles. Her career culminated in her retirement in 2018 as a gas station attendant at Sam's Club, where she was known for her warm smile and friendly demeanor. A devoted member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church for over 30 years, Carolyn's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her gentle spirit and tender heart touched all who knew her. Whether she was cooking a family feast, tending to her vibrant garden, or decorating her home for the seasons, Carolyn's love was evident in all she did. She found joy in cruising the open seas, creating unforgettable memories with her loved ones. Carolyn is survived by her loving daughters, Kimberly Godsey and Karyl Hall; her brothers Cecil Bozeman (Sherrie) and Steve Bozeman (Jeannie); her sisters Barbara Regar and Linda Brown; six adoring grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren, with the anticipation of her first great-great-grandson, Easton. Her family, extended family, and countless friends will forever cherish her memory. A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held on her 85th birthday, July 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at North Jacksonville Baptist Church, located at 8531 North Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32218. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the hospice staff for their compassionate care. Carolyn Hall's life was a testament to love, faith, and generosity. Her only concern was that her family knows Jesus, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
