Carolyn S. Thomas

Carolyn was born on April 24, 1943, as the fourth and final child of Eddie and Pauline Sheppard. She married Dallas F. Thomas on June 10, 1961. Together they welcomed a son, Brian K. Thomas, on October 11, 1967. Carolyn is survived by brother, Donnie Sheppard and his wife Florence, her daughter in law Terry Anderson and husband Wayne, her granddaughter Rebecca Thomas and her husband Jason, Her two grandsons Brian Thomas and his wife Christina, James Anderson (J.T.) and his wife Lesley. She had 5 great grandchildren that she adored more than anything, Stacy Thompson, Bonnie Anderson, Skadi Anderson, Tyr Anderson, and Noah Nowland. She was most well-known by her given name from her granddaughter, GRAM. Gram was well known and well-loved in the community and by her family. Everywhere she went, people would stop and have a conversation with her and ask how she was doing. Gram loved animals of all shapes and sizes and always gave a stray a warm place to live. Gram never met a stranger and had an abundance of love to give and was generous in sharing it. She never hesitated to give a kind word to anyone around her, a helping hand, or a listening ear. She spent her life spreading happiness and joy.
