Carolyn Patricia Adams

June 11, 1946 — October 13, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for the love she shared, we announce the passing of Carolyn Patricia Adams. Born on June 11, 1946, Carolyn graced this world with her warmth, kindness, and an infectious smile that touched everyone she met. Carolyn peacefully departed this life on October 13, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and unwavering support for her family and community. Born to Maggie Pearl Norris and Leonard Clay Norris, Carolyn was raised in a family that valued love, resilience, and togetherness. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, her cherished husband William Arthur Adams, and her dear siblings Oscar, Leonard Norris Jr., and Eloise (Meechie) Kirkland. As a testament to the strength of family bonds, Carolyn and William shared a beautiful marriage beginning on October 19, 1965, in Atlanta, Georgia, that spanned decades filled with laughter, love, and shared dreams. Carolyn’s life was enriched by her surviving family: her children Jeanette Bisalla, Gwendolyn Pritchett and son-in law Mark Pritchett, Andre and daughter in law Saadie Adams, Wendall, Stephanie, and Pamela Adams, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. For 45 years, Carolyn dedicated herself to her work with Pam Elting Jane, Hollis Lamon Mike, and their mother, forming bonds that transcended professional boundaries and became cherished friendships. She found joy in every moment of her work, always ready to share a story, listen with a compassionate ear, or offer a word of encouragement. Carolyn's life was marked by her love for family gatherings, cooking, and the simple pleasure of watching classic television shows. She was a pillar of her community, known for her radiant smile, ready laughter, and the ability to make anyone feel valued and heard. Dancing was one of her passions, and she never missed an opportunity to support her children in all their endeavors. In celebration of Carolyn’s life, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting her generous spirit and commitment to helping others. The Adams family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation for the outpouring of support and love during this difficult time. Special thanks are given to Trinity Hospice, Sams Club, and Christina Russell, whose thoughtful contributions of wardrobe, cards, flowers, food, and prayers have been a source of comfort and strength. Carolyn Patricia Adams will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire and guide her family and community.
