It is with deep sorrow and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of our beloved Carolyn Dubes Lank. Carolyn departed this world peacefully on June 13, 2026, at the age of 82, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 30, 1943, Carolyn lived a life filled with kindness, creativity, and devotion to her family and friends. Carolyn was the cherished daughter of Edward and Helen Lank, who preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her dear son, Ernie, her loving sisters Pat Matin and Joann, and her brother Sonny. The memories she created with them were treasured and will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Carolyn's journey was one of dedication and compassion. She worked diligently at Central Lab, where her meticulous nature and unwavering work ethic were admired by colleagues and friends alike. Beyond her professional endeavors, Carolyn found immense joy in her hobbies. She possessed a remarkable talent for crochet and needlepoint, often creating beautiful pieces that were treasured by those fortunate enough to receive them. Yet, her greatest passion was the time she spent with her family, which was her true source of happiness and fulfillment. Carolyn is survived by her loving daughters, Debbie (Gregg) of Tekonsha, Michigan, Lesa Crous of Westpoint, Indiana, and Sherrie (David) Cain of Delphi, Indiana. Her legacy of love and warmth lives on in her seven grandchildren, who will always remember their grandmother's gentle spirit and endless love. Additionally, Carolyn was blessed with eight great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and light into her life. Throughout her 82 years, Carolyn exemplified strength, resilience, and the power of unconditional love. She touched the lives of everyone she met, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will continue to inspire those who knew her. As we say goodbye to Carolyn, we celebrate the incredible life she led and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Her memory will be cherished, and her spirit will live on through the countless lives she touched. A private family service will be held to honor Carolyn's life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Carolyn's memory to a charity of one's choice, as a way to continue her legacy of giving and kindness. Rest peacefully, dear Carolyn. You will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.
