Carolyn Cunningham Greer
April 9, 1942 — June 4, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carolyn Cunningham Greer, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on June 4, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on April 9, 1942, in the quiet town of Conway, Missouri, Carolyn was the cherished daughter of the late Tom and Dorrlis (Bohannon) Cunningham.
Carolyn's life was a tapestry woven with love, kindness, and an unwavering faith that guided her through life's many chapters. She grew up in a bustling household, surrounded by her siblings: Carl (Mary), Larry (Patsy), Gary (Ann), Dean, Jack (Patty), and Mary Ann Lindley (Tom), each of whom she held dear. Her sister, Sue Schuster, alongside her husband Edwin, remained close to Carolyn throughout her life. Her sister-in-law, Shellie Cunningham, was also a treasured part of her extended family.
A warm and familiar face to many, Carolyn found joy in her work as a greeter at Sam’s Club in Clarksville. Her genuine smile and kind words made each visitor feel welcome. Carolyn never met a stranger; she had an uncanny ability to find common ground with anyone she met, forming connections that often turned into lasting friendships.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. As a devoted member of the Baptist community, Carolyn’s spirit of generosity and compassion reflected the teachings she held so close to her heart. In her spare time, she expressed her creativity through arts and crafts, filling her home with beautiful handmade treasures.
Carolyn's legacy lives on through her surviving family: her devoted son, Frank Greer, who, along with his wife, Melinda, cherished their mother deeply. Her granddaughter, Olivia Marie Greer, brought immense joy to Carolyn’s life, and she took great pride in watching her grow and thrive.
Carolyn is predeceased by her parents, Tom and Dorrlis, and though they are no longer with us, she carried their love and teachings in her heart throughout her life. Her memory will be forever cherished by her son, Mark Woodson Greer, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
As we say goodbye to Carolyn, we are reminded of her gentle spirit, her love of laughter, and her unwavering kindness. Though she may be absent from our lives, her legacy of love and humanity will live on in our hearts and through the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
Funeral services will be held to honor Carolyn's life and legacy. Those who wish to pay their respects are welcome to join us in celebrating the life of a remarkable woman who touched so many. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carolyn's memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
