With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Caroline "Carrie" Henry-Jones on May 11, 2026, at her home surrounded by the love of her cherished family. Carrie was born on March 22, 1952, in the charming town of Bemidji, Minnesota, to Casey Jones and Helen Graham. She lived a life full of joy, laughter, and love, leaving behind a legacy that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Carrie was predeceased by her dear parents, Casey and Helen, as well as her siblings, Buck Jones, Myrna Fletcher, and Sandy Boline. She was also preceded in death by her precious grandchildren, Tyler Henry and Kelsey Henry, and many other loved ones who have been waiting to welcome her with open arms. Carrie's life was a testament to resilience and determination. In 1980, she graduated from Western Iowa Tech in Auto Mechanics, breaking new ground as one of the first two women to complete the program. Her spirit of perseverance and her passion for learning knew no bounds, serving as an inspiration to those around her. Carrie was the beloved life companion of Kenny Henry and the devoted mother to Clayton Henry, Gabe Henry, and Keni Zimmerman. Her warm and nurturing presence was a guiding light to her grandchildren, Devin Henry, Kaid Henry, Jayden Dailey, and Walker Zimmerman. She also leaves behind her sister, Theresa Mayer, spiritual advisor Jannel Kuhta, and many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. A woman of many talents and interests, Carrie found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished time spent with family and friends, often filling gatherings with her charismatic presence, infectious laughter, and spunky spirit. Her love for singing and dancing was rivaled only by her skill at darts, and she was a devoted fan of the Vikings. Her collection of ladybug items and crystals spoke to her whimsical nature and her belief in the beauty and magic of the world around her. Carrie was adored by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her funny, lovable, and smiley demeanor made her a joy to be around, while her kind, caring, and helpful nature left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She embodied the true essence of love and compassion, always ready with a listening ear or a helping hand. As we bid farewell to Carrie, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and countless memories that will remain in our hearts forever. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her family and friends, serving as a reminder of the beautiful person she was. A memorial service will be held to honor Carrie's life at a date to be announced.
