Carole L. Cote’, cherished partner, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on May 20, 1942, in the serene town of La Tuque, Quebec, Canada, Carole was the beloved daughter of Jean Marie and Florence Cote’. She was a beacon of love, wisdom, and humor, whose light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew her. Carole was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Bernadette Cote’, Lizette Juran, and Francine Cote’. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted partner, Sherry Massey, her daughters Michelle Scroggins and husband Bob, and Susanne Kogut. She is also survived by her sisters Ginette Bailey and Linda “Joanne” Lisowski, her nephews Jack Juran and Adam Lisowski and his wife Sarah, her nieces Chantal Datzler and husband Bill, and Lauren McKee and husband Kenny. In addition, Carole leaves behind a large and loving extended family and numerous friends who were touched by her presence. Carole had a rich and fulfilling career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, a profession she pursued with dedication and compassion. She initially trained as a Surgical Operating Room Technician, but her journey led her to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Buffalo, NY. Her career culminated as an Occupational Health Nurse for Federal Occupational Health, from which she retired in 2011. Carole's professional life was marked by her steadfast commitment to care and her genuine concern for the well-being of others. Outside of her career, Carole found joy in simpler pleasures and her love for crossword puzzles and adult coloring books provided her with endless hours of enjoyment and relaxation. Carole was known for her quick wit and keen sarcasm, traits that endeared her to many. Her honest and no-nonsense opinions were a testament to her strength of character and conviction, making her a confidante and advisor to those fortunate enough to be part of her life. A Raquiem Mass will be held at St Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Pkwy, Porter, TX 77365. The family welcomes all who knew Carole to join them. A time and date is being provided soon. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Carole’s memory to a animal charity of your choice. Carole L. Cote’ will be deeply missed, but the love and laughter she brought to this world will remain in our hearts forever.
