It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Carole Faulkner, who left this world peacefully on April 1, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on July 26, 1946, in the picturesque town of Surrey, England, Carole was a beacon of kindness and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Carole was the cherished daughter of Richard and Jean, who instilled in her a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys and a love for family that she carried throughout her days. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gilbert, and her parents, whom she now joins in eternal rest. Carole leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience in her surviving family: her devoted daughters Michelle (Ed) and Cathy (Fred), her caring son David, her supportive sister Sharon (Phil), and her reliable brother Chris (Teri). She was the proud grandmother to Adam (Jessie), Aaron (Magan), and Mikhaila (Blake), and the joyful great-grandmother to four beautiful great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who adored her. A graduate of Whittier High School, Carole was a lifelong learner who found joy in books, particularly those of the sci-fi and romance genres. Her love for reading was rivaled only by her appreciation for art and music, which filled her home with beauty and harmony. In the digital age, she embraced computer games with enthusiasm, proving that age is no barrier to curiosity and fun. Carole dedicated her professional life to the meticulous world of numbers, working as a bookkeeper for Southern Pacific Railroad and later for the RTD bus system. Her colleagues remember her as a diligent and trustworthy professional who approached her work with the same passion and precision that she applied to all aspects of her life. Her family and friends will gather to celebrate Carole’s life on May 8, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the Riverside National Cemetery. It will be a time to honor her memory, share cherished stories, and reflect on the impact of a woman whose love and kindness knew no bounds. Carole Faulkner lived a life rich in love, laughter, and learning. Her gentle spirit and unwavering support nurtured her family and friends, creating a legacy that will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. Although she will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the countless memories she created. The family extends their deepest gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences during this time. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a library or art organization of your choice, in honor of Carole’s lifelong passions.
