With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the peaceful passing of Carol Marie Carr on August 20, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on June 2, 1947, in Beloit, Wisconsin, Carol was a beacon of warmth and love, cherished by everyone fortunate enough to know her. She left this world surrounded by her beloved family, a testament to the enduring bonds she cherished throughout her life. Carol was the beloved daughter of Edward and Irene Edwards, who predeceased her, along with her dear brother Eugene Edwards. She carried their memory with her in every step of her life's journey. A loving mother, she is survived by her devoted children: sons Edward Carr and Kevin Carr, and daughter Christian McNabb. Carol’s legacy continues through her eight adored grandchildren and three precious great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Throughout her life, Carol demonstrated unwavering strength, compassion, and warmth. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who found joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether it was spending time with her family, tending to her garden, or sharing stories that reflected her rich life experiences. Her sense of humor and infectious laughter will be dearly missed, but forever remembered. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Care Plus Hospice, who provided invaluable care and comfort in her final months. Their support, along with the dedicated volunteers from Neighbors Who Care, who helped ensure Carol’s well-being over the last six years, is deeply appreciated. Their kindness and dedication brought comfort not only to Carol but also to her family. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Carol’s life. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of your choice in Carol's memory, as a way to continue her legacy of giving and caring for others. Though Carol has departed from this world, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and the profound impact of a kind soul. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
