In Loving Memory of Carol Lee Ross It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Lee Ross, who departed from this world on May 13, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on June 25, 1952, in the charming town of Berlin, Wisconsin, Carol was a beacon of love, warmth, and joy to all who knew her. Carol was the cherished daughter of Agnes and Robert Ziebell, who instilled in her the values of kindness and generosity that she carried throughout her life. As a young girl, she grew up in a home filled with laughter and love, alongside her beloved brother Carl Ziebell, with whom she shared countless adventures. A proud graduate of Wautoma High School in 1970, Carol embarked on a career as a dedicated factory worker. Her commitment and strong work ethic were evident to all her colleagues, and she formed lasting friendships that endured beyond her working years. Carol's heart was her family, and she was a devoted mother to her daughter Jodi Ross and son Benjamin Ross, who both, blessed her with five wonderful grandchildren: Reanna, Tariek, Deontae, Marissa, and Jacob. Her legacy continues through her six great-grandchildren, who will grow up hearing tales of their great-grandmother’s love and laughter. In her early years, Carol found joy in needle stitch, painting, and crafting, creating beautiful pieces that were treasured by her family and friends. Carol’s home was always welcoming, filled with the aroma of her delicious dishes and the sound of joy and laughter. Her partner of over 20 years, Don Hibicki, was her steadfast companion, sharing in her joys and supporting her through life's trials. Together, they built a life rich in love and happiness. Carol possessed the prettiest smile and a personality that could light up any room. Her thoughtful and giving nature touched the lives of many. She had a playful spirit, often delighting her loved ones with her jokes and infectious laughter. Carol was, above all, a fun-loving person, bringing joy wherever she went. Her family extends their deepest gratitude to Appleton Thedacare for the compassionate care they provided to Carol. They are also immensely thankful for the outpouring of condolences, thoughts, and prayers from friends and family during this difficult time. As we say goodbye to Carol, we hold onto her memory with love and gratitude. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light in our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Carol’s memory to a charity of your choice. "Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not." Rest in peace, dear mother. You will be forever missed and eternally cherished.
