Carol Frances Bodway

Carol Frances Bodway, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on September 24th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 25th, 1962, in Osage, Iowa, Carol was the beloved daughter of Dennis and Marilyn Kramer. Carol's life was a testament to love and kindness. She married Kenneth Ray Bodway on September 17th, 1988, and together they built a beautiful life filled with joy, laughter, and shared dreams. Carol is lovingly remembered by her husband, Kenneth, her son Brandon and his wife Amanda, her step-children Tony and his wife Tracey, Jody and his wife Lilly, and Melissa and her husband John. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Audri, Lyla, Levi, and Ethan, as well as her step-grandchildren and numerous step-great-grandchildren. Carol is also survived by her siblings Sherrie Baweck, Cindy Kramer, and Kathy Mahmoud, along with many other relatives and friends who were touched by her warmth and generosity. For 24 years, Carol dedicated her career to Baxter Medical in Shoreview, MN, where she was known for her dedication and hard work. Outside of her professional life, Carol found immense joy in camping at Hidden Valley Campground in Preston, MN, where she and her family created countless memories over two decades, forming lifelong friendships that she cherished deeply. Carol's grandchildren were the light of her life, and she spent countless hours nurturing and loving them. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and comfort, where the smell of her delicious cooking often filled the air, ensuring that everyone who visited was welcomed with a hearty meal and a generous heart. A positive spirit with an ever-present smile, Carol made everyone she encountered feel loved and valued. Her ability to radiate warmth and make others feel welcome was a gift that touched many lives. The family will honor Carol's life with a service on October 3rd, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Carlson Lillemoen, located at 311 South Ashland Street, Cambridge, MN 55008. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Ecumen Hospice for their compassionate care, which allowed Carol to spend her final days in the comfort of her home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's memory may be made to any charity of choice, which would be a fitting tribute to her generous spirit and love for helping others. Carol's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her beautiful spirit.
