Carol passed away peacefully at her home in the comforting embrace of her family after a lingering illness. Born on June 7, 1955, in Saginaw, Michigan, Carol's life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering kindness. Carol was the cherished daughter of the late Melvin and Joy Doran Sr., who instilled in her a deep sense of compassion and integrity. She was predeceased by her beloved sister-in-law, Chelle Doran, and her dear nephews, Tyler Mayotte and James Doran. Their memories continued to hold a special place in her heart. A devoted sister, Carol is survived by her siblings, Denise Wheeler, Melvin Jr., Michelle and her husband Dane, and Brad and his wife Cami. Carol's love for her family was immense, and she took great pride in being an aunt to many nephews and nieces, nurturing each relationship with warmth and care. Among them, her bond with her special nephew, Andrew Doran, was particularly profound; he was like a son to her, and their connection was a testament to the depth of her love and generosity. Carol dedicated many years of her life to her work at Nexteer, where she retired as a respected laborer. Her colleagues remember her as a diligent worker, whose integrity and dedication set a standard for all who knew her. Beyond her professional life, Carol's heart was truly with the animals she adored. Her love for creatures great and small was evident in the way she cared for them, always providing a safe haven for those in need. Her compassion for animals reflected her gentle spirit and her belief in the inherent goodness of all living beings. Carol's legacy is one of love, kindness, and selfless devotion to her family and the world around her. Her gentle presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. In celebration of Carol's life, a memorial service will be held to honor her memory and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Carol's name to a local animal shelter, a gesture that would honor her lifelong love for animals.
