It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Cole, a cherished mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on April 22, 2026, at the age of 77. Carol passed away surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and joy that will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Carol was born on March 17, 1949, in the charming town of Greeley, Colorado, to Clarence and Lenora Watson. From a young age, Carol's spirited nature and zest for life were evident to all who knew her. She was predeceased by her beloved father Clarence, brother Bill, grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles, who she now joins in eternal rest. A devoted mother, Carol is survived by her daughters, Carrie (Mike) Massmann, Tammie (Paul) Hysell, and Kaylie (Eddie) Tillman, who were the light of her life and her proudest accomplishments. Her love and guidance have left an indelible mark on each of their lives. Carol’s nurturing spirit extended to her nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and laughter into her days. Her family was her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them, passing on her love for life and adventure. Carol's deep-rooted connections with her family extended to her sister, Lottie Gaines, and her brother, Windle Watson, who shared in countless memories and adventures throughout their lives. Her mother, Lenora, was not only her parent but also her confidante and friend. Carol’s presence was a beacon of light and love in their lives, and she will be dearly missed by numerous cousins and extended family. A true lover of life, Carol found joy in the simple pleasures. She had a passion for rodeos, where she admired the skill and courage of the riders, and she rarely missed a baseball game, cheering enthusiastically from the stands. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her fondness for picnics, where she would gather her loved ones for food, laughter, and stories under the open sky. These cherished moments will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. A celebration of Carol’s life will be held on May 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Restoration Church, located at 411 S Welsh Dr, Casper, Wyoming. All who knew Carol are invited to join her family in honoring her life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Carol’s memory, to continue her spirit of giving and kindness. Carol Cole will be remembered as a beacon of love and generosity. Her laughter, warmth, and unwavering love for her family and friends will remain in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
