Carol Ann Forest

Carol Ann Forest, a beacon of kindness and compassion, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 27, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, Carol lived a life that was rich in love, kindness, and service. Carol was the cherished daughter of George and Mary Leviska. She graduated from Clarenceville High School in 1977 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Business degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1981. Her career as a Human Resources Manager at Community in Schools of North Texas was not just a job; it was her calling. Known for her servant's heart, Carol was set to retire at the end of August, having mentored countless individuals and inspired many with her unwavering dedication to helping others. On a rainy spring day in 1985, Carol married the love of her life, Claudio Forest. Together, they moved to the Dallas, Texas area in 1999, where they built a beautiful life filled with adventures and joyful memories. Their union was blessed with two daughters, Cassandra and Courtney, who were the lights of Carol's life. Carol's family and her close friends were her pride and joy, and her love for them was immeasurable. Carol was an active member of the community, contributing her time and resources to numerous organizations. She was a proud member of the Rotary IMPACT Club of Southern Denton County, the Dallas Italian Club, The Venetian Club of Detroit, and was a lifetime member of the Italian-American Club of Livonia. Her involvement in these organizations reflected her deep commitment to service and community. Known for her welcoming nature and sunny disposition, Carol had a remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel valued and important. Her kindness, sincerity, and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact that will be cherished forever. Carol is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 42 years, Claudio Forest; her daughters, Cassandra and Courtney Forest; her parents, George and Mary Leviska; her mother-in-law, Luciana Forest; and her siblings, Donna Islip, Elaine Zimmerman, and Russ Leviska. She is also remembered by a host of family, friends and colleagues who were privileged to know her. A service to celebrate Carol's life will be held on August 29, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the Excite Event Center, 2300 Highland Village Road, Building 9, Highland Village, TX 75077. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to the Texas Oncology Foundation in Dallas, TX, in honor of Carol's enduring spirit in fighting Cancer and her dedication to helping others. The Forest family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and doctors at Texas Oncology Dallas and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound for their compassionate care and dedication during Carol's illness. Carol will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved and remember her.
