Carol Ann Welch

March 4, 1940 — October 29, 2026

Carol Ann Welch, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2026. Born on March 4, 1940, in Corvallis, Oregon, to W. Russell Milliken and Gladys Milliken, Carol lived a life filled with love, warmth, and creativity. In the autumn of 1959, Carol married the love of her life, James L. Welch, with whom she crafted a beautiful life and family. Together, they welcomed their children, Pamela S. Welch-Toth and Patrick S. Welch, into the world. Though she faced the profound loss of her husband James and son Patrick, Carol remained a beacon of strength and love for her family. Carol's life was a tapestry of vibrant experiences and cherished moments. She had a profound passion for being outdoors, tending to her yard with the same care and devotion she showed her family. Her annual trips to Maui were a cherished tradition, a time for her to unwind and revel in the beauty of nature. An artist at heart, Carol expressed her creativity through quilting and scrapbooking, leaving behind a legacy of beautiful memories captured in her crafts. Her family was the center of her world, and she was a devoted grandmother to two grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren. Carol's home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and the comforting scent of her delicious home-cooked meals. In honor of Carol's memory, the family suggests donations to a charity of your choice, reflecting her generous spirit and commitment to giving back to the community. Carol Ann will be dearly missed by her daughter Pamela, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. For those wishing to leave condolences, please visit www.macyandson.com.
