Carmen Rosa

December 24, 1950 — April 12, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Carmen Rosa on April 12, 2026. Born on December 24, 1950, in the vibrant and soulful land of Puerto Rico, Carmen graced this world with a spirit that was as warm and bright as the island sun. She was the cherished daughter of Amelia and Albertano González, who instilled in her the values of love, resilience, and devotion that she carried throughout her remarkable life. Carmen was predeceased by her beloved daughters, Mayra Rosa and Daisy Rosa, who she has now joined in eternal peace. Her legacy, however, continues to thrive through her seven adored grandchildren, whose lives are a testament to her enduring love and care. Carmen was truly the pillar of her family—a beacon of strength and guidance whose arms were always open, offering comfort and wisdom to those who needed it most. Her capacity to nurture and support extended beyond mere familial ties; she raised and cared for many within her family, becoming a source of unwavering support and a guiding light in the lives of those she touched. A private funeral ceremony will honor Carmen's life, respecting her wishes for an intimate gathering of those closest to her heart. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Saint Luke's Hospital, an organization close to Carmen's heart, where her compassionate spirit will continue to make a difference in the lives of others. We, her family, wish to share a special message: Carmen was a strong and loving daughter, mother, and friend, whose faith in her Lord and Savior was unshakeable. Her legacy of love, strength, and unwavering faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. As we bid farewell to Carmen, we remember her not with sadness, but with gratitude for the light and love she brought into our lives. May her soul find eternal peace, and may we all find comfort in the cherished memories we hold dear. Rest in peace, dear Carmen, knowing that your life was a blessing, and your memory a treasure.
