Carmen was a beloved daughter of Domingo Ortiz and Amparo Cosme and was the fourth child in a family of seven. Her life was one filled with the warmth of family gatherings, the laughter of siblings, and the ever-present love that comes from a closely-knit family. She is survived by her youngest sister, her cherished children, nine adoring grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren who carry forward her legacy of kindness and joy. Her professional journey was marked by her dedication to the garment industry, where she worked as a seamstress for many years. Carmen's exceptional talent transcended the ordinary, as she had a remarkable gift for designing patterns and creating exquisite dresses that brought joy and elegance to many. Her work was not just a career, but a testament to her passion and creative spirit. A devout Catholic, Carmen's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her spiritual devotion provided her with strength and solace, and she was an active member of her religious community. Her life was also enriched by her love for music, dancing, and playing bingo. These simple pleasures brought her immense happiness and allowed her to share her radiant smile with all those around her. Carmen's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and residents at Regies Care Center and Calvary, whose compassionate care and support were a great comfort during her final days. Their kindness will never be forgotten.
