He was a beloved son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, whose presence lit up every room he entered. Carlton was the cherished son of Theresa Gamble and the late Carlton L. Newman Sr., and his absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of many. Carlton was a proud alumnus of Jean Ribault Senior High, graduating with the class of 1995. His commitment to hard work and dedication was evident in his career as a warehouse manager, a role he fulfilled with diligence and integrity for many years. However, it was his passion for cooking that truly defined his professional life in recent years. Through his catering business, "FatManWitSkillz LLC," Carlton brought joy and delicious food to countless gatherings, sharing his love for culinary arts with all who knew him. In matters of the heart, Carlton found his soulmate in LaKesha Newman, whom he married on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2026. Their journey together spanned over a decade, during which they built a life of love, joy, and laughter. Carlton was a devoted family man, and his legacy is carried on by his loving wife LaKesha, his children Christopher A. Newman, Isaiah E. Newman, Elijah M. Newman, and Khalil J. Weeks, as well as his six adoring grandchildren. He also leaves behind his mother, Theresa Gamble, and his sister, LaTara Gamble. Services to honor Carlton's remarkable life will be held on September 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, located at 6615 Arlington Expressway.
