She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her brother Allen, and her dear sister Peggy Lou. Their memories were always held close to her heart, and she often spoke of their enduring influence on her life. A proud alumna of The Pennsylvania State University, Carlene graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor's Degree in Food Service and Housing Administration. Her education laid the foundation for a fulfilling career at Foxdale Village, where she dedicated 20 years of service. Her colleagues remember her as a beacon of kindness and dedication, whose warm smile and generous spirit enriched the lives of all those she encountered.
