Carl Lucky Beach

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carl Lucky Beach on August 17, 2026. Born on June 21, 1960, in Colleton County, SC Carl was a beloved son of the late Norma Jane and Parker Lyons. He was a man whose presence brought warmth and laughter to every room he entered, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. Carl was raised in a loving family and was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Dean Litchfield and Sidney Beach, and his sister Vickie Lyons. Carl embraced life with the same vigor and humor that characterized him from a young age. He graduated from high school in South Carolina, where he formed friendships that would last a lifetime. Fishing was one of Carl's greatest passions, and he spent countless hours by the water, sharing stories and laughter with friends and family. His quick wit and love of making others smile were traits that endeared him to many, leaving cherished memories that will be treasured for years to come. Carl's legacy lives on through his children, Lewis Beach (Beth), Becky Beach, Reggie Searson, and Kelly Ann Morris, as well as his siblings, James Beach (Melissa) and Thomas Sambo Grayson. He was a proud grandfather to many grandchildren, who will carry his memory forward. In his final days, Carl was surrounded by the compassionate care of the staff at Harlem Hospital, for which his family is profoundly grateful. They have expressed their deepest appreciation for the kindness and support shown during this difficult time. The family has chosen to honor Carl's life with a private ceremony, respecting his wishes for an intimate farewell surrounded by those closest to him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Carl's memory, as a tribute to his generous spirit and the joy he brought into our lives. As we say goodbye to Carl, we hold in our hearts the laughter he shared and the love he gave so freely. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
