Carl was the beloved son of the late Dorothy and Pete Wilson, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms into the kingdom of heaven. He joins them in eternal rest along with his cherished brothers, Steven and Homer Wilson, and beloved nephew, Homer Wilson Jr. Despite these profound losses, Carl's legacy lives on through the enduring love of his surviving family, including his devoted siblings Karletta and Tony Wilson. A proud father, Carl leaves behind a large family who will forever cherish his memory: his children Carl Stoeckert, Tauna Stoeckert, Christina Wilson, Colby Wilson, Cyruss Wilson, and Carly Wilson. His legacy is further carried on through his ten adoring grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to his life. Throughout his journey, Carl was a man of many talents and endeavors. He found joy and fulfillment in working with his hands, whether as a skilled barber, a meticulous mechanic, a dedicated truck driver, or scaling heights in tree service work. His career as a truck driver was a source of great pride, a testament to his perseverance and grit, before an accident led him to explore new paths. Carl was a man of warmth and humor, known for his quick wit and ever-present smile. His ability to lighten the mood with a well-timed joke and a kind word was a gift that endeared him to all he met. He had an innate ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued, a testament to his generous spirit and innate kindness that touched the lives of so many. In his free time, Carl found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid fisherman, he relished the tranquility of nature and the thrill of a good catch—often accompanied by his family, with whom he cherished every moment spent together. Though Carl faced many challenges throughout his life, including his personal struggles, his courage and determination were a testament to the strength of his character. He was a man who loved deeply and gave generously, and his absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him. Carl's journey was one of love, laughter, and resilience.
